Ants

A surface spray kills the ants you can see and leaves the colony – and the queen – completely untouched. Bait is almost always the better call: worker ants carry a slow-acting gel or granular bait (Advion, Optigard, Amdro, Synergy Pro) back to the nest and feed the whole colony, queen included.

For a heavier, longer-lasting barrier around the outside of a structure, a residual liquid like Bifenthrin or Termidor Residual is the professional option.
