Optigard Ant Bait Gel is Syngenta's thiamethoxam bait for sugar-feeding ants. Workers take it back to the nest, so you're treating the colony rather than the ants you can see.

Optigard Ant Bait Gel is a proven performer on sugar ants and offers strong control of ants including:

• Argentine
• Carpenter and sugar ants (Camponotus)
• Ghost
• Other nuisance ant species

Apply a pea sized amount to areas where ants are working and let them feed. You may have to repeat the feeding over several days to gain control. Check the bait daily for the first couple of days and top it up while they're taking it.

Protein-feeding ants won't touch a sweet gel – if the ants ignore it, try ant granules instead, or give us a call and we'll help you work out what you've got.
