Key facts

  • Manufacturer: MDS Pty Ltd

Basic setup overview

  1. Plan your run lengths – each run must be 15 m or less (shorter runs are fine).
  2. Lay the hose – bury approximately 100 mm deep or at the edge of the footing; wrap around pipes and obstacles as needed.
  3. Connect the manifold boxes – the 3 manifold boxes supplied act as service points for future recharging.
  4. Fit end caps and fittings – use the included fittings to terminate each run.
  5. Recharge when needed – pump termiticide through at up to 100 PSI; standard garden hose pressure also works.

Tip: If you are pouring concrete paths around your building, install TermX first (after boxing is done but before the pour).

Note: The hose colour has changed to red since the original video was produced.

Compatibility and fit checks

  • Termiticide: Works with any registered termiticide (Fipronil, Bifenthrin, or other – apply at label rate).
  • Pump pressure: Compatible up to 100 PSI; garden hose pressure is sufficient.
  • Run length: Maximum 15 m per run; plan manifold positions accordingly.
  • Installation type: Suitable for new builds (in-slab) and existing buildings (perimeter).
  • Hose flexibility: Can be bent around corners and wrapped around pipes and obstacles without fittings.

Warranty

  • Applied according to label directions, this product is designed to perform as stated on the label, whoever installs it.
